What the Smart TV app displays

The app displays images of physical fine artworks listed on the Vooglue platform.

Each artwork can include:

• The artwork image
• Artist information
• Artwork details
• Optional information overlays
• A QR code linking to the artwork or venue catalogue
• An AI-generated indicative price chart, updated daily

The QR code lets viewers open the artwork details page on their phone. From there, they can learn more, buy the physical artwork, or purchase a fine art collectible if collectibles have been minted for that artwork.

The AI Indicative Price Chart

Physical fine art can be difficult to price between sales because it is not traded regularly.

VooGlue’s AI-generated indicative price chart helps show how an artwork’s indicative value may be changing over time.

The chart considers factors such as the artist’s journey, exhibitions, social media progress, awards, and other signals. It gives viewers a daily updated view of how the artwork’s indicative price has moved since it was listed.

For venues

Venues can use the Smart TV app to display the artworks currently hanging in their space. A venue simply logs in, and the artworks on display at that venue rotate automatically in a slideshow. Viewers can scan the QR code on-screen or beside the artwork to see more information and purchase the physical artwork or a fine art collectible.

This gives cafés, restaurants, offices, and other display venues a simple way to make their walls more interactive.

For artists

Artists can use the app as their own personal gallery.

Once an artist adds their physical artworks to VooGlue and mints fine art collectibles, they can log in and display their own catalogue on a Smart TV. This is useful for home studios, open days, private showings, pop-ups, or any place where the artist wants only their own work rotating on screen.

Visitors can scan the QR code and buy either the physical fine artwork or the fine art collectible.

For galleries

Galleries can use the app in a similar way to venues.

When a gallery logs in, the artworks currently on display in that gallery can rotate through the Smart TV app. Visitors can view artwork details, scan QR codes, and purchase fine art collectibles directly from their mobile phone.

It adds another layer to the gallery experience without replacing the physical artwork on the wall.

For collectors

Collectors can use the app to enjoy the fine art collectibles they own.

When a collector logs in, their purchased fine art collectibles appear in their collection. They can display one artwork at a time or run their collection as a slideshow.

Collectors can also choose whether to show the information overlay, view artwork details, and follow the AI indicative price chart to see how the artwork’s indicative value has changed over time.

It gives collectors a way to display the art they own on their own wall through their Smart TV.

Public Gallery Mode

Every user group – venues, artists, galleries, collectors, and the general public – can access public gallery mode.

Public gallery mode displays artworks from across the Vooglue platform in an ongoing slideshow. It can be set to show artworks by newest listed, oldest listed, or randomly. Users can also adjust how long each artwork stays on screen.

The slideshow keeps running, turning the Smart TV into an ambient global art gallery.

Users can also filter for artworks that have fine art collectibles minted. If something catches their eye, they can scan the QR code and purchase a collectible for just a few dollars. That collectible then joins their own collection, ready to display in collector mode.

Coming Soon: Art Telecasts

VooGlue will also introduce art-based telecasts through the Smart TV app.

These will include profiles of up-and-coming, exciting, and interesting artists from around the world. The aim is to give more visibility to artists who do not have traditional gallery representation.

Most artists do not have gallery representation. Their work can end up unseen, stacked in homes and studios, while their creativity is squeezed around other jobs and responsibilities.
