Welcome!

Thank you for partnering with local artists to host an art hanging at your venue. We’re excited to help you bring original creativity into your space, spark conversations among your guests, and give your community a richer cultural experience.

This guide will walk you through how the program works, your role, and tips for making the most of it—without adding unnecessary workload to your already busy schedule.

1. How It Works

Free Rotating Art

Local artists—who have already invested significant time, skill, and resources into creating their work—will display their pieces in your venue at no cost to you.

  • You receive unique, high-quality decor that changes periodically.
  • Artists gain visibility and the chance to sell their work directly to art lovers.

Your role is to help create opportunities for exposure by making sure the art is seen and the story behind it is shared.

Sales via QR Code

Every artwork comes with a special VooGlue QR code.

  • Customers can scan it to learn more about the artist and make a purchase.
  • All transactions are directly between the buyer and the artist—you are not involved in the payment process.
  • The QR code also does map management. Scanning it once updates its location to your premises on the VooGlue Art Map

Your only QR responsibilities are:

  1. Scan each artwork’s QR code once when it’s installed so it appears on the VooGlue map as located at your venue.
  2. Ensure the QR label remains affixed next to the artwork for guests to use.

Easy Setup

The artist will coordinate with you for installation and removal.

  • Sometimes they will handle the hanging themselves.
  • Sometimes they may need you or a staff member to help with positioning or securing the piece.

Either way, your contribution ensures a smooth and professional display.

2. What’s In It for You

Fresh Ambiance

Original art gives your venue a personality that can’t be replicated with mass-produced decor. According to hospitality trends, unique visuals help create a memorable customer experience.

More Engaged Customers

Art encourages guests to move around, take photos, and strike up conversations—often leading to longer visits and more spending.

Community Connection

By supporting local artists, you become part of the creative ecosystem, which strengthens loyalty among community members and boosts your reputation as a supporter of local talent.

Free Promotion

Artists often share images of their work in your space on social media—tagging your venue and encouraging their followers to visit. That’s free advertising with an authentic touch.

3. Sales Commission – Optional

By default, artists keep 100% of their sales. Soon, VooGlue will introduce an optional Venue Commission feature.

If you want to earn commission before then:

  • Discuss it directly with the artist to see if they’re open to it.
  • Make sure the arrangement is fair and mutually beneficial.
  • In exchange, commit to actively promoting the artwork—for example:
    • Posting it on your social media.
    • Hosting a small launch or art night.
    • Featuring it in your venue newsletter.

Hospitality experts note that venues offering strong promotional support sometimes agree on around 10% commission—but this is entirely up to you and the artist.

4. Recommendations for a Successful Hanging

  • To sell more art: Mention it to guests, post photos, and make the QR code visible.
  • To rotate art: Keep works up for at least 3 months, then use VooGlue to request new pieces. Notify current artists before removal. Remind the artist to scan the QR (or the stock label on the back) whenever the artwork is hung or moved to a new venue so the map stays accurate.
  • To keep it professional: Always display art in a safe, clean, and visible spot.

5. Artwork Care & Responsibilities

As agreed in our terms:

  • Keep the artwork insured against damage, theft, or loss while in your venue.
  • Don’t remove or relocate the art without the artist’s permission.
  • Display it where the QR code is clearly visible and easily scannable.
  • If you plan to sell or relocate, you must inform the artist, giving them ample time to remove their work. The art remains the property of the artist at all times until sold.

6. Final Word

You’re not just decorating your venue—you’re creating an experience that blends hospitality and creativity. That’s a powerful way to stand out in today’s market.

Thank you for being part of the Decentralized Art Gallery powered by VooGlue movement. Together, we’re giving artists a platform and giving communities more reasons to gather, explore, and connect.
